BIO
TWELVE E – (12E) makes a hard left when it comes to what you may expect from four guys from The Bronx NY. Defying musical rules, structure and todays pop culture trends. TWELVE E has already been branded as an against the grain musical force to be recognized. Their 2019 debut album MIXD AF (mixed as fuck) introduces a new pulse of musical style that’s been heating up in the urban underground music scene, while igniting it’s own genre called Hybrid Hood Music.
The four members Wicked Swami (Lead vocalist, songwriter and producer),
Ne illest (keyboardist/vocalist), Tribal Florist (Lead guitarist), and Just Luis (drummer/percussionist) all became friends in a musical High School in the Bronx.
They are unsigned independent artist with their own unique sound and a high energy stage performance to match. TWELVE E has been pulling from multiple genre influences and merging it with their own cultural diversity within the band, and the MIXD AF album is a direct representation of that. The Album is about the mixture of emotions and trying to navigate through those confusing periods in life. As musicians TWELVE E refuses to be boxed into one single form of creative musical expression. For them that would be like being limited to only one emotion.
They officially formed as TWELVE E in late 2017. Named after Swami’s apartment number in the bronx, where the music was created. They knew they had something when his neighbors never complained, but asked when was the next rehearsal. They dropped their first single 75. Then followed up with the Keep Your Love EP. All 2018 TWELVE E has been focused on converting first time listeners into life time fans, by pushing for more live audience interaction over depending soulfully on a heavy social media presence. TWELVE E has been requested by promoters and other artist to play music venues such as SOB’s, The Delancey and Roulette. They’ve also performed on the UNI-G welcome to my Universe tour in NYC and the Brooklyn Music Week Festival. Right now TWELVE E is busy collaborating, writing, and producing with multiple talented artist within their own creative collective called The Kids From Summer Camp Kill It. The camp is focused on the Creative Arts Culture like Music, Fashion, Film, and more.
